Psychological Therapy

The aim of psychological therapy is to improve your wellbeing and happiness. Often this means finding better ways to live with anxiety or depression. At other times people need help to improve their relationships or to recover from trauma. Whatever the reason, therapy can help you to overcome life’s troubles and allow you to focus on what really matters to you.

Young People

Like adults, children and adolescents can struggle to feel happy and confident at times. Therapy can help young people and their carers improve communication and build better skills at managing troubling emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Children may also benefit from assessment of disorders including intellectual capacity and autism spectrum disorders.

Pre-Surgery Assessment

Your surgeon may refer you for pre- surgery assessment if you are considering elective surgery for weight loss, spinal repair, or for cosmetic alterations. This type of assessment can help you to understand yourself better and allow you to plan for the changes that will come after surgery.

The science of psychology strives to understand human behaviours. The application of this knowledge can be beneficial in workplaces, schools, sporting clubs, and other community groups. So whether you are looking for a more cohesive and productive team, an understanding of mental health risks, or need assistance returning an injured worker to their duties, we would welcome your enquiry.
